Marking 25 years since the events that changed the world and Zug, Light We Carry Forward offers an evening of music, story, and reflection centred on the human response that followed events that shook us. Using music, personal stories, and moments of reflection, the concert explores how people respond to crisis—not through division, but through kindness, generosity, and human connection.

The concert brings together an international collaboration of singers, musicians and actors, including the Zug Show Choir, Bel Canto Chorus and Cantori Contenti.Zug cellist and singer Jonas Iten joins Canadian pianist, conductor and arranger Tiffany Butt as well as international singers and performers, Kate Michaels and Isabella Flachsmann.  Additional soloists and actors help create a shared artistic experience with curated texts interwoven throughout the evening creating a space for audiences to remember, connect, and look forward together.

Led by Deacon Bernhard Lenfers from St. Johannes Church in Zug, we invite you to join us please in honouring the kindness we share with one another during difficult times.
