Director: Peter Gilbert
Peter Gilbert who also directed “the Importance of being Earnest” was the experienced director of this clever play, which was set in the South Kensington apartment of a young London artist, ca. 1965. Not the black comedy as one might expect, but, when the main fuse blows, plunging the flat into darkness, only the audience, could see what was happening. What followed was a frantic romp with unexpected visitors, mistaken identities, and surprises lurking in every dark corner! The result, as you might expect, was chaotic, disastrous – and very funny!
